Terms and Conditions
1. Course Structure
-
The Full Driving Course consists of 20 hours of online BDE course, 10 hours of online homework, and 10 hours of in-car training. These are the minimum requirements for BDE certification.
2. Payment & Refund Policy
-
Course fees are as advertised and may vary due to promotions or discounts.
-
Full payment or an initial deposit of $150 is required to start the course. Remaining payments must be made on schedule.

If a student withdraws within a month from the date of registration, a refund will be issued minus the cost of the online course (current price) and a $35 administrative fee.
-
No refunds will be issued after 30 days or if the course is not completed within 8 months.
3. Lesson Cancellations & No-Shows
-
In-car lessons must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance; otherwise, a $40 late cancellation fee applies.
-
No-shows will result in a loss of booked lesson hours.
-
ZeroPoint reserves the right to cancel in-car lessons due to weather conditions, vehicle issues, or test center delays.
4. Use of Training Vehicles

Students must carry a valid learner’s license and wear corrective lenses (if required) for all lessons.

The packages that provide an instructor’s car for the road test only cover tests at the local test center. If a student chooses to take the test at a different test center, an extra travel fee will apply.
5. Insurance Discount Certificate
-
To qualify for an insurance discount certificate, students must:
-
Complete all required online and in-car lessons within 8 months.
-
Pass the in-car evaluation.
-
Collect their certificate within two weeks of course completion.
-
The certificate will not be issued if requirements are not met.
-
6. Student Conduct & Responsibilities
-
Students must behave respectfully and follow all instructor guidance.
-
Students may not drive under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
-
Students are responsible for bringing their learner’s license, corrective lenses (if applicable), and any required documents for lessons and road tests.
-
Maximum daily driving time is 120 minutes.
-
If a student fails to complete all requirements within 8 months, they may have to retake or pay additional fees to complete their certification.
7. Road Test Booking & Cancellations

Students are responsible for booking and canceling their own road test with the Ministry of Transportation (MTO), with confirmation of date and time with the instructor for his availability before booking. In case of having the packages that provide an instructor's car for the road test, the instructor may book it on your behalf so it matches his availability on the specific date and time of the road test. If a student is unable to attend a scheduled road test, they must cancel it directly with the MTO to avoid penalties.
8. Agreement with the School

Students acknowledge that their contract is with the school, not an individual instructor.

Payments, and disputes must be handled directly through the school.

Any instructor-related concerns should be reported to ZeroPoint management.
9. Complaints & Disputes

Any complaints must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the incident.

Disputes will be handled internally by ZeroPoint’s management.
10. Liability Disclaimer
-
ZeroPoint Driving School is not liable for personal injuries, traffic violations, accidents, or any damages occurring during or after lessons.
-
The student is fully responsible for any traffic tickets, accidents, or violations incurred during training sessions.
-
The school is not responsible for delays caused by external factors such as weather, vehicle breakdowns, test center delays, or government processing times.
-
ZeroPoint reserves the right to refuse or terminate service to any student who fails to comply with school policies.
11. Agreement to Terms
By enrolling in ZeroPoint Driving School, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

Terms & Conditions for Multiple Road Test Package

Maximum Road Tests – This package includes a maximum of four (4) road tests. Any additional road test beyond this limit will not be covered under this package.
-
Student Eligibility – The package is strictly non-transferable and can only be used by the same student who registered for it.
-
Validity Period – All road test attempts included in this package must be completed within one (1) year from the date of registration. Any unused road tests after this period will expire.
-
MTO Fees Responsibility – All Ministry of Transportation (MTO) fees for road tests are the sole responsibility of the student. ZeroPoint Driving Academy does not cover any MTO fees, including those for test bookings, cancellations, rescheduling, or extra attempts beyond the four included in the package.

Road Test Booking Process –
-
The student must provide a range of availability for scheduling road tests.
-
ZeroPoint Driving Academy (ZeroPoint D.A.) will book the test based on the instructor’s availability but strictly within the provided date range by the student.

The student must provide at least a two-week range of available dates to allow ZeroPoint D.A. to secure a suitable test appointment.

Rescheduling & Cancellations –
-
If a test needs to be rescheduled or canceled, the student must notify ZeroPoint D.A. at least X days in advance (you can specify the notice period).
-
Any last-minute cancellations may result in the loss of that test attempt from the package.

Instructor Availability – Road test bookings are subject to instructor availability. If the provided date range does not align with instructor availability, the student may need to provide an alternative range.
